The Israel-Palestine conflict has resulted in significant civilian casualties, prompting urgent calls for adherence to international humanitarian law. Disproportionate impacts on vulnerable populations underscore the need for robust protection mechanisms and accountability measures.

Furthermore, restrictions on essential services like healthcare and education in Gaza and the West Bank exacerbate the humanitarian crisis. The plight of refugees and internally displaced persons remains dire. Blockades and movement restrictions imposed by Israeli authorities further compound challenges, limiting livelihoods and access to basic necessities for Palestinians.

In response, delegates in the MUN should advocate for comprehensive humanitarian assistance, including the protection of medical facilities and personnel, and the facilitation of humanitarian aid delivery. Emphasizing dialogue, respect for international law, and diplomatic efforts toward a peaceful resolution are crucial.
